Britney Spears 'annoyed and triggered' after ex Justin Timberlake made fun of her apology during concert

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Britney Spears is reportedly “annoyed” and “triggered” by her ex Justin Timberlake.

The two share a troublesome past and recently when the Princess of Pop wrote a book, ‘The Woman in Me’, making bombshell claims, it reignited.

Spears even issued an apology to Timberlake, saying, “If I offended any of the people I genuinely care about I am deeply sorry.” She also noted, “I am in love with Justin Timberlake’s new song ‘Selfish’. It is soo good and how come every time I see Justin and Jimmy together I laugh so hard???”

But Timberlake did not take it well as during his late January concert in New York City, he reportedly told the crowd, “I’d like to take this opportunity to apologize to absolutely f–king nobody,” before singing ‘Cry Me a River’.

And now a source has shared that Spears has not been over it yet, Us Weekly reported.

The mole claimed, “Britney was annoyed after his onstage statement.”

The insider also mentioned that the 42-year-old singer’s “turning point for her mental issues started when [Timberlake] broke up with her so many years ago.”

They continued that Britney “thought they’d be together forever and have children” but “when he broke up with her, it shook her world.”

Also, lately, it was speculated that Spears and Timberlake have made peace with each other as they “seemed [like] they were both moving forward.”

“But when he made fun of her apology it triggered her,” the tipster stated.

They also added, “Those close to her wish Justin was more of a stand-up guy and would have just moved on because what he did really hinders her recovery.”

Meanwhile, for the past few years, Spears was romantically involved with Sam Asghari with whom she got married in 2022.

But the pair divorced each other in 2023. Now, the 30-year-old model reportedly said about his ex-wife, “It was a blessing to be able to share life with someone for a long time. And people grow apart and people move on.”

He also added that he won’t talk trash about Spears as he asserted, “That's something I'm never going to do because I had nothing but an amazing experience and a great life, and that's always going to be part of my life, a chapter of my life.”
