Britney Spears' ex Sam Asghari reveals jaw-dropping chiseled look after divorce from Princess of Pop

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Britney Spears' ex Sam Asghari has reportedly lost a noticeable amount of weight after his controversial divorce from the singer.

The model recently spoke with Page Six and disclosed, “So, in the past five months I’ve had a little transformation which was losing about a good 35 to 40 pounds.”

He further shared, “Sometimes when you are in a situation that you don’t get to necessarily focus on yourself, it could be challenging for you to notice [your physique changes] but everybody else does.”

‘I have more time for myself’

The ‘Princess of Pop’ and Sam Asghari had been married for a little over a year after tying the knot in June 2022.

In August of this year, the fitness trainer filed for divorce from Spears reportedly claiming 'irreconcilable differences'.

Now, he has asserted that he felt a “spiritual” and “energy” shift following the divorce.

Asghari told the publication, “I have more time for myself to focus on myself. Being by yourself and alone is a really good opportunity to focus on yourself.”

‘Self-love is something everyone should practice’

However, the 29-year-old also clarified that his weight-loss journey is “not necessarily a revenge body, but a self-love sort of thing.”

He said, “Sometimes you get too focused on yourself. Self-love is something everyone should practice.”

Asghari also shed light on his dating life as he mentioned, “I’m focusing on work at the moment. I definitely won’t be joining any dating apps any time soon. That’s for sure.”

‘We need to stop supporting pet stores’

Besides these, the actor is also a pet parent to a Doberman named Portia, whom he got after a pet custody battle with his ex-wife.

Though Portia was bought in 2021, Asghari now believes in adoption. He told Page Six, “Always adopt, never buy. Animal homelessness is at an all-time high, and buying dogs is only making it worse. 

“We need to stop supporting pet stores and breeders and start adopting from shelters or rescue groups.”

Revealing his plans as a pet parent, he noted, “I love Portia dearly, but I now realize the importance of adopting and rescuing animals from shelters.”

“Portia and I will spend some time together and when there’s a steady schedule and less work I will definitely look into possibly getting a bunch of other pets as well,” Asghari added.
