Britney Spears says her family hurt her

Britney Spears accused her family of taking "everything" from her in an Instagram post on April 29. "My family hurt me!!! There has been no justice and probably never will be!!!" wrote in her now-deleted post.

"The people who sat and did absolutely nothing when they did that for four months are smooth sailing!!!" she lamented. “The way I was brought up I was always taught the formative of right and wrong but the very two people who brought me up with that method hurt me !!! The ‘Toxic’ crooner admitted that is yet to talk with her parents after being released from a 13-year conservatorship in November 2021, reports Fox News.

“It’s funny ‘cus till this very day I haven’t told them face to face!!! I text through IG but I honestly believe it will not be so safe if I ever did go face to face so," she wrote. Many believed the post was in reference to a recent settlement between Britney and Jamie, where the singer paid her father’s legal fees.

This was after her attorney Mathew Rosengart, claimed that Jamie mishandled and fleeced the estate while serving as conservator.

Fans support Britney Spears after she calls out her own family

The internet reacted to Britney Spears' emotional post, which she later pulled from Instagram.

"Britney's been through a lot, it's rough when your own folks let you down. Settling doesn't always feel like winning, especially with family drama," one person said on X.

The second commented, "Families often hurt each other the worst unfortunately."

"Hang in there, Brittany. It happens a lot, sadly. Just keep truckin," another supported Spears.

An online user slammed Jamie, "Her father is a leach… all he wants is her money."

"The whole Britney conservatorship saga was a wild ride, wasn't it? Feels like the legal system kinda failed her," one user questioned.
