Britney Spears says it has been 'way too long' since she met Mathew Rosengart
Britney Spears asked Mathew Rosengart to meet for lunch and catch up. They met at his Los Angeles office where they took pictures which Spears later posted on social media.
Spears expressed her excitement over the meeting, writing on Instagram, "It’s been way too long since I’ve seen him !!! OMG OMG OMG !!! It was such an incredible day !!! I am blessed."

Rosengart was "appreciative" of the post and the positive feedback it received, a source told Page Six.
However, despite fan speculation, Spears has not rehired him. "They accomplished what they set out to do," a source said of Rosengart's legal work.
The source reflected on how Rosengart helped Spears achieve her legal goal of ending her 13-year conservatorship.

Mathew Rosengart, a former federal prosecutor, removed Britney Spears’ estranged father, Jamie Spears, as her conservator in September 2021 before securing the termination of the conservatorship in November that year.
He is "very proud" of his work for Spears but has since moved on to other legal cases, the report stated.

The insider also clarified that Rosengart is not involved in Wendy Williams’ ongoing legal battle over her guardianship, despite comparisons between the two cases.

This meeting marked the first time Spears and Mathew Rosengart had been seen together since they reached a settlement with Jamie Spears in April 2024 regarding her conservatorship.

At the time Rosengart stated, "Her wish for freedom is now truly complete. … She will no longer need to attend or be involved with court or entangled with legal proceedings in this matter."
Less than two months later, they officially ended their professional relationship.
