Britney Spears reveals having weird dreams about Miley and Noah Cyrus in nostalgic post

THOUSAND OAKS, CALIFORNIA: Britney Spears has been dreaming of Miley Cyrus and Noah Cyrus — literally!

The pop icon, 42, took to Instagram on November 19, to share a nostalgic post that unexpectedly ended with a mention of the famous Cyrus siblings.

In her upload, Spears shared a photo of the Basilica de Ecce Homo in Israel, reflecting on her visit to the historical landmark.

“Repost!!! Inside Basílica de Ecce Homo in Israel 🇮🇱 ... they always show pictures of outside ... The inside is sacred ... I’ve been but for some reason I didn’t take any pictures," she wrote.

The 'Woman in Me' author added a vivid memory: “But I do remember women with their eyes closed speaking in tongues!!!!! Convent of the Sisters of Zion!!!”

However, it was her concluding comment that caught fans’ attention: “Psss why am I having dreams about Miley Cyrus showing me her new shoes with her sister Noah WTF!!!”

Miley Cyrus reflects on Britney Spears being her 'first idol'

Spears and Miley, 31, have long been vocal about their admiration for one another.

As per NBC News, back in 2009 Spears accepted the Ultimate Choice award, given for a lifetime of achievements, presented to her by that night's big winner, Miley Cyrus.

Then nearly a decade ago, Spears revealed they share common ground.

"My mom and her mom know each other. She's a girl's girl and she gets the whole Southern thing," Spears explained during an interview.

Miley has also sung Spears' praises over the years.

"The way that I am about Britney, that's the way a lot of people are about me," Miley once said. "She was my first record. I was a lot of people's first album. First idol. I'll be a diehard fan for Britney, always."

Their mutual respect even led to a collaboration on Miley's 2013 track 'SMS (Bangerz)'. "I always say I only want one b***h on my record, and that's Britney, b***h," Miley declared at the time.

Miley Cyrus' support for the #FreeBritney movement

Cyrus has been an outspoken supporter of Spears during her public battles, particularly the #FreeBritney movement, which sought to end Britney’s 13-year conservatorship under her father, Jamie Spears.

She first made the reference during a 2019 Memphis concert by shouting it out during her performance of 'Party in the USA,' according to Variety.

In another 2021 performance of her hit, Cyrus altered the lyrics to make a statement, “That’s when the taxi man turned on the radio. He turned to me and said, ‘Free Britney! Free Britney!’”

Afterward, Miley quipped, “We love Jay-Z, but we’ve got to free this b***h,” a reference to the original lyric mentioning the rapper.

Spears was ultimately released from her conservatorship in November 2021.

Beyond their mutual admiration, both Spears and Miley have experienced family tensions.

Reportedly, Spears is estranged from her younger sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, 33, while Miley has had her own ups and downs with Noah, 24.
