Brody Jenner reveals he doesn't 'get to go' on half-sister Kylie's $73M jet though he wishes he could

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Brody Jenner recently spoke about his relationship with the Kardashian-Jenner clan as he is the son of Caitlyn Jenner. His mother is Caitlyn's second wife, Linda Thompson, with whom she was married from 1981 to 1986. 

The 41-year-old dismissed the notion that he enjoys the perks of being the half-brother of Kylie and Kendall Jenner during an interview with Bustle, published on Tuesday, February 4.

Brody said, "Kendall and Kylie are my sisters. We have the same last name, but we don’t share a bank account."

Brody Jenner also noted, "I don’t get to go on the pink jet, though I would love to," referring to Kylie Jenner's personal jet worth $73 million, Kylie Air, which she bought in 2020.

The Bombardier Global 7500 features a primary suite, an entertainment suite, and two bathrooms, along with many other luxurious facilities.

Regarding the people’s assumptions regarding his fortune, Brody, who is currently participating in the latest season of Fox’s ‘Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test’, shared, "It’s funny that people think that, because, first off, my dad [Caitlyn] never gave any child support. It wasn’t like we were getting any money from the Kardashians ever."

Bustle reported that Brody’s mother did not accept any child support and alimony while divorcing the former Olympian in 1986. She, however, took "an upfront payment of 100% of the marital assets, which amounted to millions of dollars."

This comes after Caitlyn Jenner expressed her "real, sincere apology" to Brody Jenner "for not being there" for him.

During an episode of 'Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test' in January, Brody shared, as per Page Six, "It was the first time in my life that I’ve ever gotten an apology. You know, 'I’m sorry for not being there.'"

'The Princes of Malibu' star then went on to explain why he felt "abandoned" by Caitlyn. He said, "I’d randomly see him — ‘him’ at the time — you know, here and there. But, mom [Linda Thompson] would tell me that I would write on cards, 'Why doesn’t dad call me on my birthday?'"

Regarding his mother, he added, "I had an incredible mother. … [Caitlyn] wasn’t around that much. They split, and then he met a woman [Kris Jenner]. She had kids as well. The woman that he met … they had kids together."

After welcoming his daughter, Honey Raye Jenner, with his fiancee, Tia Blanco, in 2023, Brody Jenner said in a YouTube video, "I think that what I’m most excited about is doing things differently than my father did."

"Growing up I didn’t have the greatest relationship with then-Bruce," he added.

"[Caitlyn] wasn’t really around for me growing up. So I think that just doing the exact opposite, being the absolute best father I could possibly be and getting ready for the journey and just so very excited," he asserted at the time, as per Page Six.
