Bruce Willis cheers for ex Demi Moore amid career resurgence with 'The Substance', claims source
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Even after legally separating since their divorce in 2000, Demi Moore and Bruce Willis are reportedly on good terms. According to a source in In Touch Weekly, Willis is said to be supporting Moore amid her career resurgence.
The 'Ghost' actress and 'Die Hard' star tied the knot in 1987 following a whirlwind four-month romance. Together, they welcomed three daughters: Rumer Willis, Scout Willis, and Tallulah Willis.
Bruce Wills cheers for Demi Moore amid her career resurgence
“This [Demi’s career surge] is a really big deal for the whole Moore/Willis/Heming clan,” a source exclusively tells In Touch Weekly.
It adds, "Even though Bruce’s ability to communicate and talk shop have been severely diminished in recent years, he knows Demi is on a hot streak and he can see what this means to her on her face. Being movie stars is their family business and Demi and Bruce have a tradition of cheering each other on after a big win, even long after their divorce, and with the full support of their kids.”
For those who are not in verse with it, Demi’s career resurgence came following the premiere of her movie 'The Substance' at the Cannes Film Festival. “The movie is so good it’s going to put its distributor Mubi on the map in a major way as well,” the insider adds.
Additionally, at 61 years old, Moore starred in Ryan Murphy’s 'Capote vs The Swans' on FX/Hulu earlier this year, garnering accolades for her performance. “She looks great and she’s back,” the source says.
“People are throwing opportunities at her and Bruce can tell. Even as Bruce becomes less communicative, he can still watch movies and shows and have a good time and he’s always going to be Demi’s number one fan.”

Demi and Bruce have remained on good terms since their divorce in 2000. Following his split from Demi, Willis married Emma Heming in 2009 and together they have two more daughters, Mabel and Evelyn.
According to People, in 2022, Moore, Emma, and all five of Willis's daughters released a statement announcing that the A-lister would be retiring from acting after being diagnosed with aphasia. By February 2023, they revealed that his condition had progressed to frontotemporal dementia (FTD).
The pair even traveled together to Paris, attending film premieres and more. In 2020, amid the Covid-19 pandemic, the former couple even isolated together.
When Moore married Ashton Kutcher in 2005, Willis showed his support by attending their wedding.
