Bunnie Xo opens up about extreme physical toll she suffered because of Jelly Roll divorce
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Bunnie Xo has opened up about the extreme physical toll her divorce from Jelly Roll took on her, revealing that the emotional strain affected her health and left her struggling to eat.
The podcaster and the Grammy winner split in May and finalized their divorce in July. In June, Bunnie had said, “We're literally settling our divorce in like... We've done it in like, what? Three weeks? Two weeks? J is my best friend. Like, this isn't what you guys think this is. Nobody cheated on the other person. It's literally just we served our purpose for each other.”

Months after ending their nearly decade-old marriage, Bunnie appeared on Jenna Bush Hager’s ‘Open Book’ podcast on Thursday, September 3, where she said, “There was moments when my team had to pick me up off the floor and give me IVs,” because she “wasn’t eating”.
“I was eating baby food to get by. I lost 20 pounds,” the 46-year-old revealed as she added, “Heartbreak, man, it’s the best freaking diet.”

But she’s ready to push back the struggles and come out of them stronger than ever.
“That’s all you can do. When life hands you lemons, make freaking lemonade,” she stated.
Bunnie had been open about her divorce on her podcast ‘Dumb Blonde’ as well. However, on September 3, she disclosed the reason behind deleting that particular episode, which she posted on June 18.
She told Hager, “I said what I needed to say. I made a shitload off of it. If I was gonna do it for money, I would’ve left it up. Every time I went to my YouTube, I didn’t want to see that.”
“And I also don’t want to be the freaking poster child for divorce. There’s nothing hot about that. It’s a very devastating situation that anybody ever has to go through. Families get broken up. Hearts get broken. So it’s time to move on,” Bunnie explained.
Bunnie Xo reveals fight with Jelly Roll that led to divorce
The media producer had earlier revealed the last fight she and the country singer had that resulted in their divorce.
On her deleted podcast episode, she said that an argument began on Mother’s Day “which I don't think the details are necessary. And, in that argument, I was so fed up and so tired that I just looked at him and said, 'Well, then file the divorce papers.’”
But she also claimed that she’s “speaking out of anger and frustration” but mentioned that “was it necessary for us to have a wake-up call and to actually start having these real conversations? Absolutely.”
