BOONE, IOWA: During a recent speech at Boone, Iowa, Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene delivered a passionate address in which she lauded former President Donald Trump and urged Iowan voters to caucus for him in the upcoming 2024 re-election.

The congresswoman dedicated her speech to discussing immigration policy, where she declared her and Trump's commitment to "mass deportations" if he is re-elected, per a report by The Hill.

In her speech, Greene focused on the importance of immigration policy and promised that the GOP would prioritize it in the future.

The Georgia Republican congresswoman highlighted the need for strict measures, including "mass deportations," to address the pressing issue of immigration, which she believes has been neglected for too long.

What did Marjorie Taylor Greene say during her speech in Boone on Monday?

The firebrand Republican and Trump loyalist said, “What we've seen happen to our country under Joe Biden should never happen. Over 10 million illegal aliens have come into this country. 1.8 million gotaways.”

“We have to fight for a secure border and President Trump will do that, and he will start mass deportations on Day 1,” she added. “And I can’t wait to see it happen.”

In his latest presidential campaign, Trump has stepped up his anti-immigrant rhetoric, promising the greatest deportation campaign in American history if re-elected, and has opted for an increasingly dictatorial language when speaking about the matter in front of his supporters.

The former president sounded off by saying that migrants are "poisoning the blood of our country," a notion that has resonated with his voter base despite being compared to Nazi terminology.

He has also promised to reinstate and expand the travel ban targeting Muslim countries, which was criticized by civil rights groups as discriminatory, racist, and xenophobic when it was originally implemented during his first term at the White House in 2017.

The 77-year-old GOP presidential frontrunner has also pledged to bring a stop to birthright citizenship, a move that can be described as too extreme when tackling immigration reforms.

Greene, one of Trump's most prominent congressional backers, referred to migrants as "terrorists" and pointedly connected them to Hamas militants during her speech on Monday.

“They’re in our country, and you can bet many of them are terrorists who would like to attack our country here just like Israel was attacked by the Hamas terrorists over there,” she stated.
