Cara Delevingne reveals Taylor Swift took her in after breakup, recalls having 'a wild ride' as roommates

ST LOUIS, MISSOURI: Cara Delevingne, once a roommate of renowned singer Taylor Swift, is making headlines after opening up about their time living together. The English model shared the wild antics they got up to, revealing how she dragged Swift into all kinds of mischief. 

Delevingne also reflected on a difficult breakup she was going through at the time, explaining how Swift graciously allowed her to stay with her. This interview comes a year after Delevingne commented on Swift's relationship with Kansas City Chiefs' tight end, which made waves last summer.

Cara Delevingne praises Taylor Swift as one of the cleverest people

In an interview published on November 21 with Nikki Glaser, Cara Delevingne, known for her role in 'Only Murders in the Building', discussed her friendship with Taylor Swift. 

When asked by Glaser if there was anyone she would want to roast, Delevingne responded with a mention of Swift, saying, "That’s so true. The thing about Taylor, though, is I’ve seen her do a speech at someone’s wedding before, and it was a roast." 

Delevingne went on to praise Swift, calling her "one of the funniest, most clever people," adding that while anyone could easily roast her, Swift also has the power to "f**k everyone up so hard."

Glaser, who admitted she wouldn’t want to roast Swift because of her loyalty as a Swiftie, was then shocked to hear that Delevingne had actually lived with the singer for a while, according to Interviewmagazine.

Delevingne shared, "I was going through a really horrible breakup, and she let me live with her". Describing their differences, Delevingne noted, "She’s very homely, because she looked after me so well, but we got into some—not trouble." 

However, the actress couldn’t resist admitting that she had taken "her for a bit of a wild ride," even joking about trying to get Swift to "blush". Glaser responded, "That’s the Everest of female friends and you got it, girl," impressed by their bond.

Cara Delevingne once reacted to Taylor Swift's romance with Travis Kelce

In an interview with E! News on November 18, 2023, the supermodel shared her thoughts on Taylor Swift's relationship with Travis Kelce. Speaking at the 2023 Las Vegas Grand Prix, she expressed her happiness for the couple, saying, "I'm so, so happy for her. There's definitely something very different about them," and added, "I'm always rooting for my girl."

Over the past year, Taylor and Travis have made headlines for their public romance, supporting each other at various events, shows, and even at Chiefs' games. Recently, a viral video surfaced where Travis Kelce jokingly speculated about parenthood and having children. 

During an episode of 'Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?', Kelce humorously asked, "That’s what happens when you have kids? You get smarter?" after retired NFL quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick claimed that parenthood makes people wiser. Kelce responded, "Man, that’s all I had to do to become brilliant? Just have a baby!" This exchange only fueled growing rumors about the couple's future, including talk of an engagement.

Meanwhile, Taylor Swift continues her Eras Tour, with three more nights scheduled in Toronto before wrapping up the tour with a final leg in Vancouver this December.
