Taylor Swift's BF Travis Kelce teases plan for having babies on 'Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Travis Kelce may be an NFL star, but even he gets curious about parenthood. In a recent episode of 'Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?', the Kansas City Chiefs tight end jokingly speculated that having children could be the key to brilliance.
The lighthearted moment came on November 19, when retired NFL quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, a guest on the Prime Video game show, said that parenthood makes you “wiser.”

Travis Kelce jokingly wonders if fatherhood is the secret to brilliance
On hearing Ryan Fitzpatrick's observation, Travis Kelce, who is dating pop sensation Taylor Swift, responded with curiosity, asking, "That’s what happens when you have kids? You get smarter?" Fitzpatrick, 41, nodded, to which Kelce, 35, replied, “Man, that’s all I had to do to become brilliant? Just have a baby!”
The comment, which was a playful remark, caught the attention of fans, especially Swifties, as Kelce and Swift’s relationship has sparked rumors about their future, including engagement speculation.
While Swift, 34, has attended several Chiefs games to cheer on Kelce, she was not at his game against the Buffalo Bills on November 17. The singer had performed her third Eras Tour show in Toronto the night before and was preparing for more concerts before the tour’s conclusion.
Swift is scheduled for three more nights in Toronto before heading to Vancouver for the final leg of her tour in December. Kelce, on the other hand, has upcoming games against the Carolina Panthers on November 25 and the Pittsburgh Steelers on December 26.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are 'committed about their future'
Fans are now wondering if Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce will be able to spend Thanksgiving together. A source told Us Weekly in September that the couple is “very committed and serious about their future,” sparking optimism that they may indeed celebrate the holiday together.
There's also speculation about whether they’ll reunite for Swift’s 35th birthday on December 13, especially since her Eras Tour will be over by then.
In an interesting twist, Kelce’s influence seems to have inspired Swift’s performances. During her November 16 concert in Toronto, Swift paid homage to his famous dance moves. While performing 'Midnight Rain', Swift performed an impromptu dance that closely mirrored Kelce’s signature move, which he was seen doing during her London concert in June while she performed 'Karma'.
As the year comes to a close both their schedules remain busy. The two continue to capture the public's attention, with many speculating what’s next for this high-profile couple. Meanwhile, both Kelce and Swift are gearing up for the 2025 Grammy Awards, as the pop icon is up for several nominations, adding more excitement to their already eventful year.
