LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Cardi B and Offset recently split again and they are no strangers to relationship ups and downs, according to a source.

Speaking to People, the insider revealed, "They’re tumultuous. They've broken up and gotten back together and broken up again way more than the public has seen.”

However, the source shared, that the duo "had really good times together."

The revelation of their split comes in the wake of a livestream in which the 'WAP' singer announced that she and her husband have been separated for a significant period.

"I’ve been single for a minute now,” the singer said in the livestream shared on her X (formerly Twitter). On Monday, December 11, the clip circulated on social media.

During the live stream, the 'Bartier Cardi' singer stated that she wanted to begin the new year "fresh" and "open," as she is curious for a new life, for a new beginning. And yeah… I’m excited."

Cardi B and Offset who are parents to two children, Kulture Kiari, five, and son Wave Set, two, discreetly tied the knot in 2017. From previous marriages, Offset also has two sons Jordan and Kody, and a daughter Kalea Marie.

Speaking about whether her fans predicted a possible breakup, Cardi B said, "I don't know if you guys have been getting clues from me, from my Lives, or from my Stories, when I put some certain music, or find my unfollowings."

The statement comes after her fans spotted her and Offsett unfollow each other on Instagram last week.

In September, the 'Best Life' singer and the 'Dissolve' rapper celebrated their wedding anniversary.

Showing how her husband gave her a surprise with a lavish floral arrangement, Cardi B posted an Instagram video and wrote, "Thank you sooo much baby 💕."

"Thank you for the flowers, the empowerment, the protection, and for being a great father to our children," she wrote.

Cardi B who said she "love so many things about" her husband said that she loved how Offset took the time to "study" her.

A month after the video was posted, Offset who made an appearance as a guest on the podcast 'Call Her Daddy' stated that he was attracted to Cardi B because "She didn’t give a f**k what nobody thought.

"And it’s just like damn, that’s fire," he added, saying, "Funny, great personality, from what I could see, you know what I’m saying? Like that’s a funny girl, she’s a cool girl, and then I shot my shot and I swished it."
