'Morphine me down': Cardi B opens up about 'freak accident' that almost cost her pregnancy
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Cardi B has revealed her "freak accident," which could have caused a pregnancy loss.
The ‘WAP’ singer over her X Spaces talked with a few fans and said on Wednesday, August 7, “I had a f–king freak accident. I don’t know how something — well, it wasn’t little, it actually hurt.”
She added, “It doesn’t really happen often, but it become [sic] so big to the point I was literally paralyzed," she said. "And that little thing almost cost me my little one to come."
Cardi B didn't reveal what caused the accident
Cardi B then said, "it didn’t," referring to her accident. "Yesterday I was feeling good. I came home, but I came home high as a kite,” she added.
She talked more about her emotions, "Today, I woke up sober, honey. I’m dying, If I don’t feel good in four hours, I’m going to the hospital and I don’t give a f---."
"I’mma exaggerate this s--- so I can get more morphine. Morphine me down! I don’t give a damn," she managed a laugh, reported People.

Cardi B is expecting her third child amid divorce
The rapper announced her pregnancy over an Instagram post on August 1, a day after she filed for divorce from husband Offset. The former couple shares a two-year-old son Wave Set and a daughter Kulture Kiari, six.
“With every ending comes a new beginning! I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power! Reminded me that I can have it all! You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion!” she captioned while debuting her baby bump.

Cardi B further wrote, “I love you so much and can not wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do! It’s so much easier taking life’s twists, turns and test laying down, but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it to push through!”
In December 2023, she confirmed in an Instagram Live that she is single, admitting that she had hesitated to share the news.
