WASHINGTON, DC: Carla Hall, the host of Max's 'Chasing Flavor', is approaching her 60th birthday in May with grace and humor while she explains there are a few things she will and will not be doing to feel good about herself.

Botox was the first item on her pass list. "Won't do it," asserted Hall. The 59-year-old celebrity chef told PEOPLE magazine she is not against injectables; rather, she's drifting toward an "easy-peasy" way of living.

Besides rejecting injectables, Hall recently opened up about suffering a natural miscarriage at 40, shortly before getting married to her husband, Matthew Lyons.

Carla Hall quips about injectables saying 'face will drop quicker than breasts'

Botox may be out of the question, but Hall will spend time and money on facials. "I've been getting them since I was twenty-four. That's the one thing that I will spend money on." Hall will be wearing a mask at home in between appointments.

Speaking about not getting Botox done, Hall remarked: "I don't judge people who do it. I have friends who do Botox. I am not good with maintenance, and what if I can't afford it one day?"

One can be sure she has no worries about the repercussions, though. "Child, my face is going to be down there with my knees. My face will drop quicker than my breasts will. [But] no. I'm not doing it," Hall quipped.

Hall further added: "I'm getting older, and understanding what my skin needs at this age. I don't want to look 40. I don't care that I have a wrinkle."

"I don't care that when I smile, you may see some crow's feet, or you may see something in between my brows, laugh lines. Because my laugh lines means I laugh. My dimple is getting deeper, as I age, and I'm okay with that."

Regarding her plans, Hall believes it is imperative to follow a skincare regimen.

"I have a really good girlfriend, Lorrie King, and she created Caire Beauty [pronounced "care"] because her mother was going through chemo, and her skin was really dry. It helps menopausal skin. I'm like, 'Girl, I'm in'." Hall said.

Overall, Hall is content with her physical appearance and age. She said, "I have knobby knees. If you bump into my elbow, it's going to hurt. I have big feet, I have buggy eyes. There are certain features I have accepted and certain [ones] that I like. I like my one dimple, my niece has the other one, so together we have a pair."

One such user praised Hall and said, "Good for her! I love her on the Holiday Baking Championship shows. I would've never guessed she'll be 60! She looks great!"

Another user praised her and said, "Not only is she a fantastic cook, but she is so lovely in person."

"Good for you Carla. Then you won't look like a puppet," echoed one user.

"You are beautiful," praised another one.
