A recent behind-the-scenes video on ‘American Idol’ showed Carrie Underwood singing Whitney Houston’s ‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me)’, as reported by Parade.

The clip shared on Underwood’s and the show’s social media pages features the hit song playing in the background as the songwriter sings along.

Several people felt that Underwood singing Houston’s hit would not have been approved by the late icon due to her support for Trump.
