Underwood, 41, joined the 37-year-old country singer for their duet 'I'm Gonna Love You' after hosts Luke Bryan, Lainey Wilson, and Peyton Manning introduced him as a solo act.

Johnson began the song on his own before Underwood sang the second verse while emerging from backstage, with cheers and applause erupting from the surprised audience.

She finished the verse and joined Johnson for the touching ballad's chorus.
