Cassie Ventura seen with black eye in unearthed photos from years before Diddy's hotel assault
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: In a set of resurfaced photographs from 2013, Sean "Diddy" Combs' ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, appears to have bruises on her forehead and a black eye.
The photos, taken while the two were still dating and unearthed by the Daily Mail, cast a disturbing shadow over their relationship and align with Cassie's claims of abuse.

The resurfaced images show Sean "Diddy" Combs and Cassie Ventura arriving at a party in Kingston, Jamaica, in January 2013. While it might have seemed like just another glamorous night out, the photos tell a darker story.
Sporting dark sunglasses, Ventura seems to have bruising beneath the frames. A small dark mark is also visible on the side of her head. Diddy is seen holding Cassie’s hand and leading her into Kingston’s Lime Light Entertainment complex for a party following his Bad Boys Sound Clash performance.

One unsettling detail that Cassie brought up in her civil suit against Diddy concerns her white nail polish. According to her November 2023 lawsuit, Diddy specifically chose this nail color for her because it stood out during what he called "freak off" sessions.
"Mr Combs insisted she wear white nail polish to contrast with the skin of the black men he hired to have sex with her," states the filing.
Cassie Ventura's shocking allegations against Sean 'Diddy' Combs
Cassie Ventura's lawsuit, in which she accuses Diddy of sexually assaulting and physically abusing her for over a decade, details another incident from 2013 that left behind tens of thousands of dollars worth of damages at a luxury hotel.
The court documents state, "On one occasion around 2013, Mr Combs had an FO set up at the InterContinental Hotel in New York City, after which he was charged with tens of thousands of dollars in damages by the hotel. Upon information and belief, Mr Combs's Chief of Staff Toni Fletcher paid the invoice charged by the hotel."
According to Ventura, her forced participation in Diddy's "freak offs" began in 2007, shortly after they started dating.
While Diddy vehemently denied Ventura's accusations, a disturbing video unearthed by CNN earlier this year painted a different story.
The footage, captured in March 2016 at the now-closed InterContinental Hotel in Beverly Hills, shows Diddy kicking and dragging Ventura in the hotel lobby while dressed only in a white towel.
Ventura's lawsuit also seemed to corroborate the incident.
The filing states that in March 2016, "Mr Combs became extremely intoxicated and punched Ms Ventura in the face, giving her a black eye. After he fell asleep, Ms Ventura tried to leave the hotel room, but as she exited, Mr Combs awoke and began screaming at Ms Ventura."
It continues, "He followed her into the hallway of the hotel while yelling at her. He grabbed at her, and then took glass vases in the hallway and threw them at her, causing glass to crash around them as she ran to the elevator to escape."
After the release of this harrowing footage, the disgraced music mogul issued a public apology and called his actions "inexcusable." He added, "I was disgusted then when I did it. I’m disgusted now."
Sean 'Diddy' Combs' used force and coercion to pressure his partners into participating in 'freak offs'
Sean "Diddy" Combs' troubles, of course, didn’t end with Cassie Ventura's civil suit. Federal authorities have since charged him with sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution.
The indictment echoes his ex-girlfriend's allegations and expands them to include accusations of kidnapping, forced labor, bribery, and intimidation. Prosecutors claim that Diddy employed "threats, force, and coercion" to pressure his partners — including Cassie — into participating in these "freak offs."
The documents reveal even more unsettling details about Diddy’s lifestyle. During raids on his Los Angeles and Miami homes, investigators apparently discovered videos of these events alongside a shocking array of "supplies" including "1,000 bottles of baby oil and illegal drugs."
Prosecutors describe these "freak offs" as events that "occurred regularly, sometimes lasted multiple days, and often included multiple commercial sex workers."
Diddy was arrested in Manhattan last month and is remanded in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. His last court appearance was a status conference in New York, where he was in leg chains and denied bail yet again.
The rapper is set to face trial in May 2025, with another court date scheduled for next month.
