LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Celine Dion, 56, is sharing details about her wedding day ensemble that led her to visit a doctor the very next day.

The ‘My Heart Will Go On’ songstress married late music producer Rene Angelil in a dreamy ceremony in 1994, but the occasion wasn’t as uneventful as she would have liked.

Recently, Dion - who has been suffering from a rare neurological disorder called Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS) - appeared in an interview for Vogue for the series ‘Life in Looks’ - where she broke down her looks from 1991 to the present for the fashion bible.

When the then 26-year-old songstress married her longtime manager, Angelil, he was 52. Breaking down her wedding ensemble, the Oscar-winner revealed she wore an elaborate headpiece of almost seven pounds and featuring 2,000 Swarovski crystals.

In the video, the ‘Queen of Power Ballads’ broke down her wedding looks while saying she could manage the weight of the headgear and the elaborate dress because she was so "happy".

Referring to the headgear, Dion recalled, “No problem, I can manage the weight. And when you're so happy, there's no weight, there's no problem, there's no pain," per Daily Mail.

Reminiscing the past, Dion shared, “We kind of rehearsed one time with the dress and the big veil and all that, and it was in a big ballroom and it was all made of like beautiful wooden floors.”

She continued, “I practice and everything is smooth and everything is fine, but when I had to walk the cathedral, it has no wooden floor, it's carpet. I had an immediate facelift.”

She went on to share her struggle with the elaborate wedding attire, adding, “I start to walk and... it's like, "Am I gonna make it? Am I gonna make it to my future husband?"... I did, so all night, all great, people happy.”

However, the damage was done, and she realized it later when she ultimately removed the seven-pound headpiece.

‘To Love You More’ songstress continued, “But when we removed that tiara, I had a cut because the pressure was too much. The next day I wake up, I look at myself in the mirror, I have the size of an egg in the middle of my forehead.”

That injury led her to visit the doctor. “I look at my husband and I said, "Ha, it's too late now, we're married". But it's so huge... I'm like, okay, let's go to the doctor. So I had to be on antibiotics for about three weeks.”

However, the discomfort that she felt due to the attire could not mar her excitement for the day as she was so full of love for her husband.

Dion also paid a loving tribute to her husband who passed away in 2016, aged 73, after suffering from throat cancer. She said she still felt “his presence so much".

Reminiscing her marriage day, Dion shared, “This is a moment that will be with me for the rest of my life.”

The ‘All By Myself’ crooner gushed, “The [wedding] dress couldn't have been big enough. I could have had three times the size on my head,” before adding, “I could have had six different dresses that night because he was and he's still such a wonderful human being.”

She added, “He brought the best [out] of me, he really did.”

The multiple award-winning songstress met her husband when she was just 12 and he was 38. However, love blossomed later on.

In 1993, Dion made a declaration of her love to her fans when she attached a note to her third English-language album, ‘The Color Of My Love’.

Dion shared, per Daily Mail, “I wrote a note behind my album,” and added, “Rene is my love, I can't keep this secret inside of me anymore. It's getting too powerful. Let me paint a truth and show you how I feel. Rene, you are the color of my love.”

The couple tied the knot the following year in Montreal's Notre-Dame Basilica and went on to welcome three children together - Rene-Charles Angelil, and twins Nelson and Eddy Angelil.
