Celine Dion is 'hopeful' her new documentary will shed light on her battles with Stiff Person Syndrome
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Celine Dion, who is battling with Stiff Person Syndrome, is bravely navigating the challenges of the rare and incurable neurological disorder.
"It’s been hard for her to make peace with the changes to her life, her body, her capabilities, but Celine’s hopeful that this project will shine a light on SPS and the quiet battles that so many people [like her] are going through," a source said of her new documentary.

Celine Dion is 'being very vulnerable' amid her battle with SPS
Speaking about how the 'I'm Alive' songstress handles her condition, the source admitted, "She has good days and bad. This disorder is unpredictable. She’s being very vulnerable."
Despite the struggles, Dion remains hopeful the release of her new documentary titled 'I Am: Céline Dion' will provide her fans a peek into what she has been going through.
"This last couple of years has been such a challenge for me, the journey from discovering my condition to learning how to live with and manage it, but not to let it define me,” the singer said of being open with her fans.

"As the road to resuming my performing career continues, I have realized how much I have missed it, of being able to see my fans," she continued.
"During this absence, I decided I wanted to document this part of my life, to try to raise awareness of this little-known condition," she added, according to OK Magazine.
Celine Dion's appearance at the 2024 Grammys
Dion, who announced the cancellation of her world tour in May 2023 due to her SPS diagnosis, made a rare public appearance when she attended the 2024 Grammys.

"I love you right back. When I say I am happy to be here, I really mean it from my heart," she said as she presented a Grammy Award.
"Those who have been blessed enough to be here at the Grammy Awards must not take for granted the tremendous love and joy that music brings to our lives and people all around the world," she added.
"Now it gives me great joy to present a Grammy Award that two legends — Diana Ross and Sting — presented to me 27 years ago. These are the outstanding nominees for the Album of the Year," Dion shared.
Dion's new documentary titled 'I Am: Celine Dion' on her career and SPS diagnosis has been globally released and is now out on Amazon Prime.
