LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Celine Dion is a fighter and while she relentlessly works to make a return, the multiple-Grammy winner is also raising awareness over a rare disease - ‘stiff person syndrome.’

She went public with her diagnosis in December 2022 for the first time and has since kept a private lifestyle. But now, the star is releasing a new documentary on her whole experience of going through the day-to-day challenges.

Celine Dion is determined to return to the stage one day

Dion issued a statement saying, “This last couple of years has been such a challenge for me, the journey from discovering my condition to learning how to live with and manage it, but not to let it define me.”

The 55-year-old added, “As the road to resuming my performing career continues, I have realized how much I have missed it, being able to see my fans.”

“During this absence, I decided I wanted to document this part of my life, to try to raise awareness of this little-known condition, to help others who share this diagnosis,” she continued.

One source claimed, “Celine has been taking time to focus on her health but plans to take the stage again once she is given the go-ahead by her medical team,” as per Daily Mail.
