Channing Tatum made surprise announcement about Zoe Kravitz just hours before breakup news
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Channing Tatum and his girlfriend of three years, Zoe Kravitz, shocked fans with reports of their breakup just one year after getting engaged.
On Tuesday, October 29, reports came that the ‘Magic Mike’ star and his fiancee had broken up after first getting linked in 2021.
While the split came as a shock to the couple’s fans, even more puzzling was the lack of tell-tale signs of the degeneration of their relationship.
Before the ‘Step Up’ actor blindsided his fans with the news of their split, he made a surprise film announcement with Kravitz on Instagram.
Channing Tatum’s puzzling post regarding Zoe Kravitz
While the couple’s last loved-up post was made in early September, just a few hours before the separation news went viral, Channing Tatum posted a Deadline article announcing that he and Zoe Kravitz would be starring in the Zellner Brothers’ alien invasion comedy ‘Alpha Gang’.
Along with Tatum and Kravitz, Cate Blanchett, Dave Bautista, Riley Keough, Steven Yeun and French star Lea Seydoux have also joined the starry line-up for the upcoming film, per Daily Mail.
However, no mention of their breakup was made in the post made by the ‘Step Up’ actor in his Instagram Story.
His last post with the ‘Divergent’ actress was made on September 3, when the duo put up a loved-up display while relaxing on their couch.
The duo appeared to be surrounded in romantic bliss, posed for a selfie where Kravitz was reclining on Tatum with her eyes closed. The ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ actor, on the other hand, looked directly toward the camera while striking a pose.
The photo appeared to have been taken during the filming of ‘Blink Twice’ as he still rocked his square beard from the film.

He accompanied the image with the caption, “This little sweet. She So tired bro. Every time I wondered if she’d break…. She just kept going and going and going. Always on the dig for truth.”
Tatum continued in his adulation, as he wrote, “She pour’d every single ounce of her into this film. I’m so proud to stand ten toes down for her, this film and everyone in it. Forever.”
“Knowing what it took to make it. No one will ever know,” added the 44-year-old actor, before noting, “Thank you for finding me and seeing me.”
“I got you forever. Me and you back to back against it all. I’ll never blink. Let’s go,” wrote the actor, before adding the hashtag, “#blinktwice.”
Channing Tatum and Zoe Kravitz split after three years of dating
According to multiple sources who confirmed to People, Zoe Kravitz and Channing Tatum broke up after three years of dating and called off their engagement.
However, the reason for their split is not yet disclosed.
Per the publication, the daughter of Lenny Kravitz was seen without her engagement ring last week when she was out with 'Big Little Lies' co-star Shailene Woodley at Buvette in New York City.
The former couple got engaged in October 2023, with Kravitz flaunting her 7-carat diamond ring during last year’s Halloween celebration.
Publicly, the rumored to be ex couple were last spotted on October 6, when they watched the play 'Picture Day' at Coffey Street Studio in Brooklyn's Red Hook neighborhood.
