NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Rapper Charlamagne the God claimed the first presidential debate between Joe Biden and Donald Trump might not go well for the incumbent, on the Friday, June 21 episode of his podcast, 'The Brilliant Idiots'.

The 90-minute debate is scheduled to be hosted by CNN on June 27 in Atlanta, moderated by network hosts Jake Tapper and Dana Bash.

According to Fox News, the rules for the debate include muted microphones outside the speaking time of the candidates, no live audience, no pre-written notes, and no consulting with campaign aides during breaks.

Charlamagne the God's take on upcoming debate

Referring to the rules of the event, the rapper exclaimed on his podcast, "Do you not want Trump to be interrupted? You're thinking about it one way, you’re just going to let Trump go, and you can’t jump in, and you 80-plus years old and trying to keep up with every single lie he’s going to lay out? Are you serious? Biden’s not going to be able to keep up!"

While hyping up the debate as "must-see TV" and comparing it to a "real, live freestyle battle," Charlamagne felt that Biden was being put in a "really bad situation" and wished him, "Good luck, President Joe Biden."

"Listen, I don’t know, maybe it won’t be bad. Maybe they got some new s**t they’ve been working on, some super serum, you know what I mean, and they’re going to shoot," he continued. "It’s going to be bad."

"It’s going to be so joke-filled. Donald Trump is dangerous because he’s funny, he's dangerous because he's funny. He’s going to give us one of the greatest stand-up specials we’ve ever seen on June 27. The names he’s probably working on for Joe, the s**t he’s going to come with about Hunter. Oh my God."

Charlamagne expected Biden to approach the debate with "decorum," which would not work in his favor.

"If you go in there with that mentality, you already f**king lost," he added.

Internet users shares their take on upcoming debate

Reacting to Charlamagne's comments over the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), a user wrote, "As long as Biden does not collapse, CNN will declare him the winner."

"If Biden can find the podium, they’ll declare him winner!" echoed another.

"Trying to downplay expectations despite the fact that BOTH CNN 'moderators' publicly disparage and hate Trump," noted a third.

"How about we test them before and after for performance enhancing drugs," jibed a fourth user.

"That's like predicting the carriage horse in Central Park won't win the Kentucky Derby," chided a fifth.
