The 25-year-old songstress sent the internet into meltdown on Tuesday, August 26, after revealing her engagement to the tight end of the Kansas City Chiefs. The two publicly started dating back in 2023.

Charlie Kirk tells Taylor Swift to 'submit to your husband'

Speaking on 'The Charlie Kirk Show' on Real America’s Voice network, Charlie Kirk said, "I hope that America's biggest pop star marrying the pharmaceutical spokesperson ends up conservatizing them. Taylor Swift might deradicalize herself. She might come back down to reality. I want them to have lots of children. It teaches something about, teaches you something about yourself."

He also mused that one of the reasons Swift had been so “annoyingly liberal over the last couple of years” was the fact that she was not yet married.

"Taylor Swift might go from a cat lady to a JD Vance supporter, and I think we should celebrate that. I think that Taylor Swift having two or three children, she should have more children than she has houses," Kirk added.

He further mentioned that "we want Taylor Swift on team America" and "to leave the island of the wokeys."

"One of the reasons why so many people on the right have been just skeptical or at least a little bit negative on Taylor Swift is, up until this point, that's not a great role model for young women, to wait all the way until you're 35 and just put your career first. We just talked about this with Katie Miller. However, there's a great chance to change that," the conservative firebrand added.

Kirk then stated, "All kidding and sarcasm aside, this is something that I hope will make Taylor Swift more conservative. Engage in reality more and get outside of the abstract clouds. Reject feminism. Submit to your husband, Taylor. You're not in charge."

He concluded his rant, "And most importantly, I can't wait to go to a Taylor Kelce concert. I can't say it without laughing. You've got to change your name. If not, you don't really mean it."

Internet slams Charlie Kirk for his statement

Several internet users criticized Charlie Kirk for offering a disingenuous congratulations to Taylor Swift on her engagement by urging her to reject feminism and "submit to your husband."

A user wrote on X, "Worry about your own marriage quit trying to project everybody else what they should do loser," while one added, "Wow. Just wow. Gentleman if you listen to this person you will be alone forever."

A person also stated, "Is he for real? Crying about feminism won't pay the bills," whereas one mentioned, "The concept that they can’t control everything they see drives them insane. It’s an unending deranged trigger."

Another user wrote, "Serious question--what's wrong with this guy?"

One commented, "He’s a father and a husband? Poor family."
