LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Charlie Sheen is looking forward to a relaxing Christmas with his twin sons Max and Bob, 14.

The actor, 58, said he prefers calm and traditional holidays but feels bad for people who are going through stress.

The 'Two and a Half Men' star told People, "We are not one of those families that plan a ski trip or the tropical thing."

"We don't have 30 relatives flying in. No, it's pretty calm, pretty traditional, very sane, very comfortable," he said, adding "It's very comfortable. I feel bad for people who experience so much stress during the holidays."

This comes days after the star faced an unsettling event on Wednesday, December 20, when his neighbor was arrested for trying to choke him after forced entry into his home. The 'Paltoon' star shares his sons with ex-wife Brooke Mueller who he divorced in 2011.

He also has two daughters, Sami, 19, and Lola, 18, with ex-wife Denise Richards who he split from in 2006. His eldest child is Cassandra Jade Estevez, 39, who he had with ex-girlfriend Paula Speert.

The 'Major League' actor says he enjoys spending time with his sons, who he describes as “really cool, really smart, and really funny”.

He adds that they are not impressed by his fame or career. “It doesn’t matter, whatever we’re doing that might be important and connected to our job, or some high brow moment of responsibility, the kids don’t care,” he says.

Charlie Sheen says he is ready to act in New Year

'The Arrival' star, who has been open about his struggles with substance abuse, says he is eager to return to acting. He recently appeared as himself in two episodes of Chuck Lorre’s comedy series 'Bookie.'

“I would just check every fricking box. And that went away. So I was really excited about being that guy again,” he added.
