LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The renowned Russo family has left fans excited and thrilled with a fresh reunion photo that is currently doing the rounds on the Internet. 

Selena Gomez, known for her role as Alex Russo, has recently reconnected with her former co-stars from the beloved Disney series, 'Wizards of Waverly Place'.

This reunion comes amid buzz about a potential spinoff of the popular show.

David Henrie and David DeLuise, who brought to life the characters of Justin Russo (Alex's brother) and Jerry Russo (their father), respectively, were spotted in a  photograph with Gomez.

Also present in the snapshot was Maria Canals Barrera, who played the role of Theresa, the Russo children's mother.

The reunion has sparked excitement and anticipation among fans, eagerly awaiting more news about the rumored spinoff. 

"The Russos… are returning #wizardsofwaverlyplace @wizardspod," DeLuise wrote in the caption of his Instagram post dated January 26.

He was referring to the 'Wizards of Waverly Pod' podcast, which he co-hosts with Jennifer Stone, another alum from the show.

Stone portrayed Harper Finkle, Alex's best friend, and transitioned to a career as a registered nurse in 2020, coinciding with the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, per E! News.

Henrie and DeLuise posted their reunion photo, signifying the gathering of the 'Wizards of Waverly Place' cast in recent years.

This happened a week after it was reported that the series, which aired from 2007 to 2012, is set for a sequel.

Gomez, aged 31, and Henrie, aged 34, will reportedly take on the roles of executive producers.
