Chris Jones gets teary during 'unbelievable' National Anthem performance ahead of Chiefs vs Bills game
KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI: Kansas City Chiefs star Chris Jones was moved to tears when retired Navy petty officer First Class Generald Wilson performed the national anthem at the AFC Championship game.
The Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills fans cheered in the stadium before kickoff, and Wilson received an amazing ovation for his performance of the Star-Spangled Banner.
At one point, fans were all singing the National Anthem loudly until the camera zoomed over to Chiefs' defensive tackle Jones, who was crying as Wilson continued singing.

Chris Jones gets teary during National Anthem performance
The retired Navy officer's National Anthem performance ahead of the Kansas City Chiefs vs Buffalo Bills AFC Championship game was praised by many people, including ESPN's Pat McAfee.
Retired Navy petty officer First Class Generald Wilson wowed the audience at Arrowhead Stadium with his voice as he performed in Kansas City.
Fans cheered enthusiastically when the performance ended as CBS cameras showed Chris Jones in tears.
The song set the mood for one of the NFL's most crucial games, the fourth time these two teams have faced each other in the playoffs in the last five seasons, reported Daily Mail.
Before his performance and the game, Wilson posted on Twitter, "KANSAS CITYYYYYYY! SO HONORED to receive the call off the bench to join you in singing OUR National Anthem during the AFC Championship Game on Sunday, January 26th. Y'all already know how much I love The Chiefs, so you can imagine how I'm feeling right now. God is so Good! I'm Thankful! I'm Grateful! I'm Honored! Pray and Sing with me Y'all! Letzgoooooooo!!!! His X page received thousands of new followers and fans after the videos of his performance went viral on social media.

Jones, who is frequently spotted becoming emotional as Wilson performs the National anthem, was unable to control his tears before he had a strong first half.
Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle had previously broken down in tears as gospel singer Lanell Lightfoot performed the National Anthem Chiefs' playoff game against the Houston Texans at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, per Fox News.
Jones also started crying during the National Anthem at a game where the Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl the previous season.
The camera shifted to Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, who appeared energized as the Chiefs attempted to make NFL history by becoming the first team to win three straight Super Bowls.
The Chiefs vs Bills game will determine who plays the Philadelphia Eagles, who earned a trip to the Super Bowl for the second time in three years, according to Irish Star.
