Christina Applegate blasts trolls claiming LA wildfires are good for 'stupid Hollywood people'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Christina Applegate did not mince her words while calling out people who think the Los Angeles wildfires are “good”.
On her and Jamie-Lynn Sigler’s ‘MeSsy podcast’, the 53-year-old actress shared on Tuesday, January 14, that she and her daughter, Sadie, 13, may have to flee their house again if the situation arises amid the Pacific Palisades, Altadena, and Eaton fires.
Reacting to it, her co-host said, “There’s not really words for it,” as reported by The New York Post.

Christina Applegate stated, “You know what I have words for? F*****g people who are saying that it’s, you know, good. It’s Hollywood and those stupid Hollywood people. Like, you’ve gotta be kidding me.”
The ‘Married... with Children’ star also mentioned that Los Angeles is not only full of celebrities. She said, “We’re a small portion of the city.”
“I mean, this is a city of people that are working their a***s off at fast food chains or, you know, f*****g builders and painters, and it’s a myriad of groups of humans here, so to say good riddance is real sick, and I’m not liking that whatsoever,” she explained.
Sigler then suggested Applegate to “tune out” the comments but the ‘Vacation’ actress replied, “I’ve tuned it out because they’re ridiculous, but I’m calling them out right now.”

Besides, the ‘Call Me: The Rise and Fall of Heidi Fleiss’ actress also shared her views as she said about the people of Los Angeles, “They’re all there for big dreams, and they work top to bottom, work their f–king asses off.”
“And sure. Is there a group of people that have been affected that will have the ability to rebuild their lives? I wouldn’t say easily, but soon? Yes. And are there thousands of other people that literally have no idea where they will begin? Yes. And we have to hold both of them in our hearts,” Sigler added.

Elsewhere during the podcast, Applegate revealed that she has kept a backpack with “the important papers and things” ready in case she’s to evacuate again.
But her teenage daughter has “got, like, four suitcases, so I don’t know what’s gonna happen there.”

Jamie-Lynn Sigler, who lives in Texas Austin, disclosed that if she were in the situation like her LA peers, she would take “a couple of things from my grandmother, obviously important papers.”
“This sounds terrible, but my SAG Awards because they’re a time and a memory, and you can’t replace that. And a box of artwork from my kids,” the 43-year-old actress added.
