LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'The Sopranos' star Jamie-Lynn Sigler is tired of Ozempic obsession invading the Holywood industry.

Several popular names such as Oprah Winfrey, Amy Schumer, Tracy Morgan, and Sharon Osbourne have already publicly disclosed their experience using the drug, making it less taboo to discuss.

However, the 43-year-old who has a history of an eating disorder, said she found the entire trend to be "triggering."

"I actually know a handful of people that it has made an incredible difference in their lives. I have seen them struggle with their weight for a very, very, very long time. And seen it give them a lot. And I am so happy for them," Sigler admitted, per Fox News.

"But I also have seen friends of mine who were beautiful and healthy and perfect abusing it. And it's upsetting me," she added.

Jamie-Lynn Sigler says 'everyone's looking the same now'

Ozempic is an FDA-approved Type 2 diabetes medication but is now frequently used for weight loss. "There's not a woman that I know that is spared from this," Sigler said later in the episode.

"Here's why I think I'm triggered with all the weight-loss drugs right now, is that it felt like we were on this road to really like, solidifying the body positivity and every shapes and size and color," she explained. "Everyone's looking the same now."

Kate Winslet previously slammed stars who used Ozempic

'The Titanic' actress who also suffered from eating disorder, had previously lashed out at Hollywood stars who use Ozempic to lose weight.

Winslet was asked about the type 2 diabetes drug, which has skyrocketed in popularity after it became known for aiding weight loss.

“I actually don’t know what Ozempic is,” she said at first during an interview with the New York Times.

“All I know is that it’s some pill that people are taking or something like that.” When its use was explained to her, Winslet ranted, "Oh, my God. This sounds terrible. Let’s eat some more things!”

However, Sigler and Winslet aren't the only individuals who voiced their displeasure against the Ozempic use. Notable personalities such as Mark Wahlberg, Rob Lowe, and Brooke Burke have also openly protested against its use.

Internet is also frustrated with Hollywood's Ozempic obsession

Several netizens shared their opinions concerning the widespread Ozempic use in today's generation, especially among Hollywood stars.

One X user shared, "I'm diabetic, and was on it for about a year. Sometimes the pharmacy was a week late getting it. I suffered all the side effects from it, missed too much work, and lost my job. I quit the drug the same day I was let go."

Another opined, "Pretty simple , let only diabetics use it ." "The main issue with any of these drugs is that you don’t treat the underlying issue that caused you to get fat in the first place and that’s overeating" tweeted one and another commented, "I'm a Diabetic. I can't get it because it is being abused by healthy and obese."

"What happened to the old way of exercise. I do and I am 66 years old. Treadmill and rowing machine. These young are lazy and want the easy way. It’s a shame" added one.
