Internet lauds Drea de Matteo as 'Sopranos' star says many celebs oppose Biden agenda but are 'petrified'

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Emmy-winning actress Drea de Matteo recently criticized the Biden administration, asserting that numerous well-known celebrities, including herself, oppose Biden's agenda but feel hesitant to voice their opinions.

De Matteo, known for her role in HBO's 'The Sopranos', joined former President Donald Trump's son, Trump Jr, on a recent episode of his 'Triggered' podcast.

What did De Matteo say?

At 52 years old, De Matteo delved into her evolving views on various topics, notably illegal immigration. She admitted to a shift in perspective, citing her previous vote for Biden due to sympathy for the situation. However, the current chaos at the border has prompted her to reassess her stance, per Fox News.

During the conversation, De Matteo proudly displayed a cap from her friends' company, Sloppy Tease, bearing the slogan "Close the border you moron."

They then delved into the topic of mass illegal immigration, particularly focusing on the influx of able-bodied, fighting-age men. De Matteo expressed skepticism about their intentions, stating, "I just don’t know that they’re here to support the American people."

De Matteo asserted that while she has only recently become vocal about her views, she has harbored opposition to contemporary far-left trends for some time. Despite this, she still identifies herself as liberal to some extent.

"I really did want to fight, but I didn’t think I had, A, the voice, B, the balls," but said everything changed once she "got thrown to the wolves."

She added, "And once I was out there, I was like, ‘I’m out here, what am I going to do? I’m out of my cage.’ Like, I may as well just, you know, do what I got to do." After noting she has been supported by her boyfriend, God, and her children, she said, "They believe in what we believe in, which is freedom and unity the right way, not unity the way this administration was trying to push. That was b*****t."

She continued to slam the Biden Administration, saying, "They took every social agenda and used that and used these social issues as pawns to further their administration, did nothing but divide people." 

"This administration has just been hammering all of these things," she argued, adding, "and people in Hollywood are petrified. What, are you going to speak out against race, and sex, and all of that stuff? People are afraid to have those conversations, because first of all, you never win with a liberal, you're just never gonna win."
