Sharon Osbourne's 'gaunt' look sparks concern as she enters 'Celebrity Big Brother', friends blame Ozempic

LONDON, ENGLAND: Sharon Osbourne has taken the internet by storm after she entered the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house on Monday, March 4. 

While several fans became excited to see her as a participant in the reality show, they were also concerned over her “gaunt” appearance. As per Daily Mail, the 71-year-old star’s friends blame the weight loss drug Ozempic for her changed appearance.

One of Osbourne’s friends recently shared with Daily Mail that ever since she has taken the drug, she has been “unable to put on weight” which facilitated her face looking “gaunt”.

Osbourne’s pal shared, “Nobody close to Sharon wanted her to have the jab but she went on to do so anyway. She looks so gaunt now, so thin and at her age that isn't going to make her look great.”

They continued, “If doesn't matter what food you put in front of her, she can't eat much. She totally and utterly regrets it.”

The outlet further dished out that the producers of the reality show asked her to opt for long-sleeved dresses while on the show so that her “super skinny arms” are not shown on camera.

Sharon Osbourne opened up about Ozempic

Before entering the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house, Osbourne shared in an interview with The Guardian in early February that she "lost three stone [42 pounds] in four months," after starting the drug in late 2022.

The 71-year-old music manager candidly shared, "I’ve finally become more accepting of my body, my looks," before adding, "I’m through with the weight loss and all that cosmetic stuff."

She, however, also acknowledged after the drug, she has faced problem in gaining back some of the lost weight. "I lost three stone [42 pounds] in four months. Too much," Osbourne shared before adding, "I now weigh seven stone and can’t put on weight."
