MADISON, WISCONSIN: Coldplay vocalist Chris Martin issued a friendly warning to fans at Madison Square Garden over the Jumbotron during a live concert, following a viral video involving a CEO allegedly caught having an affair.

The frontman was at the center of a viral moment that sparked allegations that Astronomer CEO Andy Byron was having an affair with a fellow employee.

Chris Martin issued a light-hearted warning to fans before featuring them on the Jumbotron during the July 19 'Music of the Spheres' concert in Madison.

He said, "We’d like to say hello to some of you in the crowd and put some of you on the big screen."

"How we’re going to do that is we’re going to use our cameras and put some of you on the big screen. Please, if you haven’t done your makeup, do your makeup now!" the frontman jokingly said.

This came after the 48-year-old featured an unsuspecting couple holding each other on the big screen at his July 16 show in Massachusetts.

The viral moment showed the woman immediately turning around and hiding her face, while the man, later identified as the Astronomer CEO, dropped to the floor to avoid the cameras.

Martin joked at the time, "Either they’re having an affair or they’re just really shy. Oh s***, I hope we didn't do something bad."

Three days after the viral incident, Andy Byron resigned from his position at Astronomer.

The company stated on July 19, "Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding. Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability, and recently, that standard was not met."

"Andy Byron has tendered his resignation, and the Board of Directors has accepted. The Board will begin a search for our next Chief Executive as Co-founder and Chief Product Officer Pete DeJoy continues to serve as interim CEO," the statement continued.

Astronomer also previously announced that its board of directors had "initiated a formal investigation" into the matter and shut down speculation that Byron had released a fake written statement that circulated online a day after the incident.

The firm confirmed in a July 18 statement, "Andy Byron has not put out any statement. Reports saying otherwise are all incorrect."
