Cops called to Kris Jenner’s star-studded 70th birthday bash for loud music and disturbance
BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA: Kris Jenner's 70th birthday bash reportedly got so loud that police were called in. The party drew a large number of celebrity guests and featured music and festivities that lasted late into the night.
According to the reports, the police received multiple noise complaints from nearby residents as the party went on.
Kris Jenner's birthday party at the Bezos mansion
Cops were reportedly called multiple times on Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday on Saturday, November 8. The James Bond-themed celebration was held at Jeff Bezos’ mansion in Beverly Hills and attended by more than 50 A-listers.
The guests included Oprah Winfrey, Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, Tyler Perry, and Martha Stewart, along with Jenner’s six children. Guests wore black ties to fit the 007 theme.
Bezos shares the $165 million home with his wife, Lauren Sanchez, which spans nine acres. The massive Georgian mansion, built by Jack Warner in the 1930s, set a record for the most expensive house sale in California history when it was purchased in 2020.
Besides the 13,600-square-foot mansion, the property features several guesthouses, a pool, and a nine-hole golf course.
Cops issue a warning about the disturbance
A surprise performance from Bruno Mars is what led to multiple noise complaints over loud music levels and disturbances throughout the night, according to TMZ.
Officers spoke with the party’s security detail and issued a warning.
According to the outlet, officers returned after learning that fake hedges outside the property were blocking the street without a permit. The decorations were later taken down as the guests started leaving the party.
“It was just all about celebrating Kris,” an insider told the outlet. “And it was everything you'd expect from Kris: over-the-top, glamorous, and full of love from her family. It was obvious that she had the best night.”
However, the police did not stop the party for Jenner, whose actual birthday was on November 5.
Other high-profile presence at the party
Along with numerous celebrity guests, her entire family attended the event, which was organised by her six children, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Rob Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, and Kendall Jenner.
The socialite's boyfriend, Corey Gamble, was by her side at the party, but there was no surprise wedding for the couple despite rumors.
Other celebrities at the party included Adele, Mariah Carey, Paris Hilton, Kathy Hilton, Justin and Hailey Bieber, Teyana Taylor, Sarah Paulson, Niecy Nash-Betts, Travis Barker, Tristan Thompson, and Bill Gates.
