LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Costco has made it clear that they have no connection to Sean John Combs, also known as Diddy, after the rapper's lawyer suggested he might have bought baby oil in bulk from their store.

A company representative informed TMZ that their US locations do not sell baby oil, and the product isn't even available for purchase online.

Homeland Security reportedly discovered 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant during a March raid on the embattled record producer’s homes in Miami and Los Angeles as part of a federal sex trafficking investigation.

Diddy’s lawyer said the rapper’s parties included ‘consensual adults’

However, last week, Diddy’s attorney, Marc Agnifilo, downplayed the discovery when speaking to The New York Post, stating, “I don’t think it was 1,000. I think it was a lot. I mean, there’s a Costco right down the street. Americans tend to buy in bulk, as we know.”

“And you know these are consensual adults doing what consensual adults do, you know, we can’t get so puritanical in this country to think that somehow sex is a bad thing because if it was there would be no more people,” he stated while his client has been behind bars since September 16 on sex trafficking and racketeering charges.

Costco's statement followed a September 17 indictment, which spanned 14 pages and accused Diddy of hosting “freak offs” that involved objectionable and derogatory actions toward his alleged victims.

Marc Agnifilo denies discovery of 1,000 bottles of baby oil

Meanwhile, Agnifilo addressed the baby oil issue again in the TMZ documentary 'The Downfall of Diddy: The Indictment', which premiered on Tubi on Thursday, September 26.

He mentioned, as per Us Weekly, “I don’t know where the number 1,000 came [from]. I can’t imagine it’s thousands. … I mean, he has a big house. He buys in bulk. I think they have Costcos in every place where he has a home.”

The lawyer also noted, “I guess. I don’t know what you need a thousand [for]. One bottle of baby oil goes a long way.”

Marc Agnifilo claims Diddy is ‘eager to tell his story’ in court

Additionally, in the documentary, Marc Agnifilo confirmed that Diddy will testify in court. He said, “I don’t know that I could keep him off the stand. I think he is very eager to tell his story.”

“He has his story, and he has a story that, I think, only he can tell in the way he can tell it in real-time. It’s a human story. It’s a story of love, it’s a story of hurt, it’s a story of heartbreak,” the attorney explained.

“When he describes that relationship, the word he uses more than any other word is heartbreak. He was heartbroken. She was heartbroken,” Agnifilo added, referring to his troubled relationship with then-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, who was the first one to sue him.

In November 2023, she filed a lawsuit against him, claiming sexual and physical abuse throughout their relationship.
