Courtney Stodden embraces her natural look after dissolving lip fillers

Posting a bare-faced selfie, Courtney Stodden reflected on her journey with cosmetic enhancements and the pressures she felt from a young age.

“I started getting lip filler at 17,” she wrote. “Back then, I truly believed I had to change myself to be accepted—even by me.”

In the post, Stodden candidly acknowledged how beauty standards and personal insecurity shaped her early decisions. “I didn’t give myself the chance to love who I really was. I was chasing perfection, running from insecurity, and hiding behind enhancements.”

Now, Stodden says she’s reclaiming her identity. “But recently, I made a decision that felt radical: I completely dissolved my lips!!! They feel small, but real! Aaaand I absolutely love them this way,” she wrote, celebrating the return to her natural features.

“This isn’t about rejecting beauty — it’s about redefining it on my own terms,” she explained, adding that for the first time, she’s beginning to believe, “I am enough.”

The post closed with a message to others who might feel pressured to alter their appearance: “To anyone who feels like they need to change to be enough: you don’t. You already are.”

Stodden, who has been open in the past about her struggles with identity and self-worth, added hashtags like #SelfLove, #Confidence, #HealingJourney, and #Authenticity, affirmations she says reflect where she is in life today.
