NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Dana White is not holding back as he talks about the “rudest” celebrity he says he has ever met, Sean 'Diddy' Combs.

Speaking on a podcast, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) president recalled a tense encounter with Combs that, according to him, left a young family member upset.

He said the meeting took place years ago at a charity event. His niece was initially excited to meet the rapper, but the interaction reportedly shifted quickly and became frightening.

White also brought up that UFC fighter Conor McGregor was once a fan of Combs. However, after meeting him at a UFC event, McGregor allegedly said he “wanted to punch him in the face,” according to White’s retelling.

Meanwhile, Combs is currently in prison, serving a long-term sentence after being convicted on multiple charges following his sentencing in October 2025.

Dana White made a pointed remark about a past celebrity encounter, calling Sean Combs the "rudest" public figure he has ever met. Speaking on the 'Katie Miller pod,' White was asked directly, "Who’s the rudest celebrity you’ve ever met?"

Without much hesitation, White named Combs and went on to recount a charity event incident from years ago that involved his young niece.

The UFC president said the moment left a lasting impression on him, especially because it took place in what was supposed to be a family-friendly environment.

Here is how White described the encounter: "Tony Hawk used to have these charity events and when my kids were little, you’d go to these charity events and lots of celebrities would be there. So, everybody would do things for each other’s kids," White explained.

"So, I had my niece at one of them and Diddy shows up... and my niece was all excited like, ‘Oh my God, P Diddy’s here,’ and whatever. I said, ‘Awesome. Yeah, go take a picture with him.’"

"She comes back, and I’m like, ‘Did you get a picture?’ She’s like, ‘No, they were scary.’ You know, the guy’s there with 10 security guards, right? You need security at a kids’ event? And then they were rude to her and scared her."

"That’s who’s listening to your music, OK? That’s who’s listening to this. Are you kidding me? And that’s how you’re going to treat some girl that’s a fan and wanted a picture with you?"

White’s comments suggest disappointment over what he viewed as an unwelcoming attitude at an event meant to support charity causes, especially in front of children and families.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs sentenced in federal criminal case

After his arrest in September 2024 on federal charges, Sean 'Diddy' Combs became involved in a major legal case involving several lawsuits and serious allegations. Later, a jury found him guilty on two charges related to transporting people.

He was sentenced to 50 months in prison and fined $500,000. The judge said the prosecution’s request for 135 months was too long, while the defense’s request for 14 months was too short, according to NBC News.
