CHARLESTON, SOUTH CAROLINA: Darius Rucker took an embarrassing fall onstage during his Charleston concert.

Interestingly, the ‘Let Her Cry’ crooner quickly made his concerned fans crack up with a joke about his age.

On Saturday, October 12, Darius Rucker performed with his hit band ‘Hootie & the Blowfish’ for the annual Riverfront Revival.

While entertaining the audiences during his homecoming show, the frontman seemed to have tripped on an onstage monitor and fell face-forward.

"I'm old as f**k," Rucker chimed, which brought laughter from the crowd. The video was captured by a concertgoer and posted online.

The 58-year-old addressed the onstage situation after finishing his hit song ‘Alright’, "We've been doing this all summer. I hadn't fell once. But I busted my a*s in my hometown."

Rucker was arrested in February on two charges of simple possession/casual exchange of a controlled substance and was also booked for violation of Tennessee’s vehicle registration law, the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office confirmed, per People.

"It sucks. Fifty-seven years, never seen inside of a police car or jail, and I get busted for that. I mean, I looked back at that and I was like, ‘I got stopped by a police officer and I had a little bit of pot, and I think a little bit of some mushrooms or something in the car, and he let me go,'” Rucker told the outlet.

The artist added, “And a year later I got a phone call from a buddy that said, ‘I think I just saw an arrest warrant for you.’ It shocked me. And I’m handling it with my lawyers, and paying the price, and we’ll move on with our lives.”
