Dave Bautista looks unrecognisable after drastic weight loss for upcoming movie 'The Killer's Game'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Hollywood star Dave Bautista, who is well known for his imposing figure and bulging muscles, has astounded fans with his recent makeover.
The six time WWE champion dropped an incredible 75 pounds in order to play a part in a movie called 'The Killer's Game', Mirror reported.
Dave Bautista discussed his latest role in a recent interview
Dave Bautista plays Joe Flood in the action-comedy movie that also stars Terry Crews, Sofia Boutella, and Pom Klementieff, who costarred with him in 'Guardians of the Galaxy.'
It has been said that the actor underwent a rigorous diet for a year and a half to prepare for the part.
"I'm getting super trimmed, this is probably the lightest I've been since I was 19 years old," Bautista told Chris Van Vliet while discussing his new role. "The heaviest I've ever been is 370lbs. When I started 'Deacon', I was about 325lbs."
He added, "Throughout most of my wrestling career I was about 290lbs. Now I'm about 240lbs. And I went a year and a half ago for Knock at the Cabin, I went 315lbs. And that's when the nightmare started. Getting that weight off, which has been a challenge. Now I'm really particular about my diet."

Long history of 'The Killer's Game'
'The Killer's Game' was a protracted and difficult production, with preparations to start shooting dating back to the last century.
A story that Rand Ravich created in the mid-1990s under the working title 'Godforsaken' was eventually sold to New Line Cinema in December of 1995.
The original plan was for Wesley Snipes to play the lead role, and it was hoped that production would begin in 2002. After production reached a standstill in 2006, the project was resurrected only in 2015.
Dave was brought into the case in 2019, but filming didn't start for another four years.
Internet takes note of Dave Bautista's new appearance
The legendary wrestler received a ton of praise from netizens for his incredible work ethic and commitment to his craft, even at this age. One X user said, "Dave Bautista demonstrates that it is never too late to make a meaningful life change through hard work."
Another added, "This guy is honest and just like other entertainers and actors/actresses they have personal struggles. But glad a person of his strength and stature humanizes themselves and should be listened to that we all have our flaws or weaknesses. Much respect."
"Dave Bautista as a Wrestler vs. Actor. Two stages of his life. Different crafts and forms of those crafts," remarked one user, while someone else tweeted, "He's transforming into one of the greater actors that'll let his work speak for him. He doesn't want to just wait for Action or Shooting movies, he wants to act. That's his passion. He was a wrestler, he built his body for that sole purpose and now, he lost the weight and build."
"Been a fan of yours literally since the day you first debuted on SmackDown. SO happy for you and the success you've had! You've definitely earned it!" said one.
