Dayle Haddon died at her son-in-law Marc Blucas' home in Solebury Township on Friday, December 27. According to a spokesperson from the Solebury Township Police, authorities arrived at the residence around 6:30 p.m. after receiving a 911 call. They found the 76-year-old Haddon deceased in a second-floor bedroom.

Marc Blucas' father, Walter Blucas, was found unconscious on the first floor and is currently receiving treatment at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

Authorities have linked the incident to a faulty flue and exhaust pipe in the home's gas heating system. Further reports revealed that two medics were hospitalized for carbon monoxide exposure, while a police officer was treated at the scene.

Following Dayle Haddon's death, her daughter, Ryan Haddon, shared a heartfelt tribute on Instagram, writing, "The bright light that is Dayle has dimmed in this Earthly realm. Shining somewhere as radiantly as ever where it’s most needed, I have no doubt."

She continued, "She was a woman in her power, yet soft and attentive to all... She held so many up, saw their greatness sometimes hidden to them, and always built bridges to help them ascend." Ryan also expressed her understanding that her mother’s journey in this life was complete. She concluded her tribute, saying, "I honor her. I bow to her. A pure heart. A rich inner life. Touching so many lives. A life well lived. Rest in Light, Mom."
