The 62-year-old actress became the subject of online controversy after appearing to overlook 27-year-old Jenner, right after she won the Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy award for her role in 'The Substance'.

In a now-viral video, Demi Moore can be seen walking over to Elle Fanning's table for a brief conversation but seemingly failed to notice Kylie Jenner, who was seated next to her and trying to get her attention.

An insider told Daily Mail that there was no ill intent, and Moore simply did not notice Kylie. The source also mentioned that the two women have "different values."

"Demi doesn't know Kylie," the insider explained, adding that the two have different values and had never crossed paths before. "Demi raised her children in a much different manner than the Kardashians were raised, and they have different values."

They added, "Demi is an actress. Kylie was there because she is dating Timothee Chalamet. Demi respects Timothee and admires his talent. It was not a snub though.

She simply didn't even acknowledge her presence."

The actress' daughter Tallulah Willis also dismissed rumors that her mother had snubbed Kylie, stating that the actress simply hadn't noticed the beauty mogul.

In a statement posted on her Instagram Story, she wrote, "There was no snub of any sort. Had she seen KJ wanting to congratulate her she would have given her the time and space. Literally just give it all a break and let a gal enjoy her accomplishments!"

There appears to be no bad blood between Moore and Jenner. Last Halloween, the beauty mogul paid tribute to Moore by recreating her iconic look from the 1996 film 'Striptease'. She even mirrored the film's famous theatrical poster.

Moore seemed to enjoy Jenner's costume, sharing the photos on her Instagram Story with the captions "love this" and "nailed it."
