The tribute came amid ongoing challenges for the Combs family. In addition to mourning Kim’s loss, the twins are also navigating the current legal troubles of their father, Diddy, who is facing serious charges.
The music mogul, 54, was arrested in September on federal charges related to trafficking and racketeering. He has since been denied bond twice and remains in custody while awaiting trial.
As the twins continue to process their grief, they have also been vocal about protecting their mother’s legacy. In October, a memoir titled 'Kim’s Lost Words: A Journey for Justice From the Other Side…' surfaced, claiming to be written by Kim Porter. The book included allegations about Kim and Diddy’s relationship, and which the Combs children have publicly denounced.

In a statement, Diddy and Kim’s children categorically rejected the authenticity of the memoir, calling it “fake” and labeling it a “shameless attempt to profit from tragedy.” They also addressed rumors surrounding their mother’s death, stating, “The cause of her death has long been established. There was no foul play.”
The statement continued, “We ask that everyone respect our request for peace as we continue to cope with her loss every day.”
The twins emphasized that any person claiming to speak on their mother’s behalf, or in possession of alleged works like the memoir, is not a trusted friend or representative of their family.
