NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Sean 'Diddy' Combs, who is currently awaiting trial on serious allegations following his September 2024 arrest, was unexpectedly rushed to the hospital in the middle of the night on Thursday, January 30.

According to exclusive sources, Diddy was transported from the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn to a nearby hospital for an MRI after complaining of severe pain. But is the hip-hop mogul truly facing a health crisis, or is there more to the story?

Why was Sean 'Diddy’ Combs taken to hospital late at night?

Sources have reported that Sean 'Diddy' Combs was taken to a hospital by prison staff after he complained of intense pain. He underwent an MRI at a Brooklyn hospital. Insiders told DailyMail that Combs' "knee was bothering him", and the visit occurred around 10 pm to avoid any speculation.

Reports also confirmed that the late-night hospital trip wasn’t due to any altercation or fight in jail, with sources noting it was simply an old injury causing him discomfort.

Importantly, Combs did not have an extended stay at the hospital; he was discharged shortly after the MRI procedure was completed.

The rapper’s attorney, Marc Agnifilo, commented, "I cannot comment on anything related to prisoner movements, nor will I address any potential medical issues."

The Federal Bureau of Prisons has neither confirmed nor denied the reports of the 'I Will Be Missing You' singer's hospital visit, with a spokesperson saying, "For privacy, safety, and security reasons we do not comment on the conditions of confinement for anyone in our custody to include medical status or medical trips."

This comes after reports of the rapper facing difficulties in prison, including a meltdown during the holiday season. In December, he was reportedly placed under observation due to mental instability.

The music mogul has been held at the Metropolitan Detention Center since he was denied bail in December last year and is awaiting trial on trafficking, racketeering and other serious charges.
