LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Sean 'Diddy' Combs' former bodyguard, Gene Deal, recently claimed in an interview that Jay-Z hid from Tupac Shakur, also known by his stage names 2Pac and Makaveli, in a hotel room before performing at his concert in Las Vegas.

He informed Cam Capone News in an interview published on October 10, "I don’t know how Pac found out that Jay-Z had a show, but Jay-Z was not coming out that room", per VIBE.

Gene Deal added that it took phone calls with Chaz Williams, Big D, Eric B, and Suge Knight to make sure that nothing would happen and resolve the situation.

Deal said, "Suge said, ‘Yo, man, that ain’t me. That’s Pac with his wild a**'."

He added, "Suge Knight told Pac to give Jay-Z a pass so he could go do his concert, because Jay wasn’t coming out of that room, you know, to do nothing."

Deal revealed that he did not know the reason why Tupac had an issue with Jay-Z, but he thought it might have something to do with Jay-Z working with The Notorious BIG on 'Brooklyn’s Finest' from his 1996 album 'Reasonable Doubt', per the outlet.

Irv Gotti claims he told Jay-Z to not do 'Brooklyn’s Finest'

Music producer Irv Gotti claimed during a 2020 Instagram Live with Fat Joe that he told Jay-Z not to do 'Brooklyn’s Finest'.

He said, "I was dead set against it. I was telling Jay, ‘Don’t do it, don’t do it’ and he was like, ‘Why?’ I was like, 'Big, he’s too strong'."

He added, "'Before we take over the world, we gotta take over the West Coast. Before we take over the West Coast, we gotta take over the East Coast. Before we take over the East Coast, we gotta take over New York. Before we take over New York, you gotta take over Brooklyn and he owns all that.'"

Piers Morgan apologizes as Jay-Z, Beyonce take legal action

Piers Morgan issued an apology to Jay-Z and Beyonce after their legal team sent a notice replying to Jaguar Wright’s shocking allegations made during her recent appearance on the talk show, 'Piers Morgan Uncensored'.

Wright didn’t hold back during the interview and claimed that both the music mogul couple and Diddy are "monsters" with a long history of alleged misconduct.

Wright said, "For four years I’ve been screaming not just Diddy, but Diddy and Jay-Z are monsters", and added that they have "hundreds of victims" who could share their horrifying stories.

As her statements quickly went viral, it prompted Morgan to reveal that he has since been in contact with the couple’s legal team. He said in his apology, "Jaguar, unexpectedly, made several serious allegations about Jay-Z and Beyonce during that interview. As I said in the moment, they were not present to respond or defend themselves, but now they have."

He added, "Their lawyers contacted us to say that those claims were ‘totally false’ and have no basis in fact, and we’ve therefore complied with a legal request to cut them from the original interview."
