WASHINGTON, DC: Former CNN anchor Don Lemon has sparked widespread outrage after making a shocking comment about Megyn Kelly’s appearance.

The controversy erupted during a recent episode of the podcast Clip Farmers, where the 59-year-old and his co-hosts discussed the appearance of “MAGA women.” During the exchange, Lemon said that Kelly looked “trans” and “chopped,” going on to further criticize her looks.

While talking about conservative women, Lemon said, “I think she looks trans,” and added, “Looks clockable.”

The term “clockable” is often considered offensive and is used to describe a trans person who can be easily recognized as their biological gender. Lemon, who has previously spoken against transphobia, also commented that Kelly was “too skinny” and wore “a lot of hair and makeup.”

His co-hosts appeared uncomfortable with the remarks and quickly tried to end the segment, saying, “Let’s end on that note.” The clip went viral soon after, racking up millions of views and sparking backlash across social media platforms.

Earlier this month, Lemon had also taken another jab at Kelly, telling her to “get the f**k out of here” after she made comments about his husband, Tim Malone.

In September, Kelly had criticized Lemon for blaming recent political violence on white men, pointing out that his own husband is white. Lemon defended his stance, saying, “The greatest threat of political violence in America today is white men radicalized to the right.” He also noted that Kelly was fired from NBC in 2019 after making controversial remarks about blackface.

Others defended Kelly’s looks, with one saying, “Oh, so jealous of her beauty and success!"
