SAVANNAH, GEORGIA: Donald Trump has faced backlash online after he allegedly stated that he delivered his speech without using any teleprompters.

The former president was in Savannah, Georgia, on Tuesday, September 24, when he inaccurately bragged about speaking independently while criticizing the use of teleprompters.

Trump hails himself for not using teleprompter

During the rally, Donald Trump said, “Isn't it nice, by the way, to have a president who doesn't need a teleprompter?” as per OK! Magazine.

His false claim has gone viral online, with many people highlighting that he was using two teleprompters that day.

Netizens dub Donald Trump ‘documented liar’

Sharing a screengrab of the event that highlighted the teleprompters, a user on X tweeted, “Who's gonna tell him?”

Another user wrote, “Trump usually requires at least 4, sometimes 5, teleprompters.  Plus he’s a documented liar.”

Another commented, “He has 2 teleprompters right in front of him.”

A user stated, “I like Presidents who can read above a fifth-grade level. Teleprompters are too fast for Trump.”

Another added, "With a prompter, he reads like a low-energy robotic moron. Without a prompter, he uses a psychotic voice and thinks Hannibal Lecter is real."

A user wrote “So, Donald Trump says, ‘Isn’t it nice to have a president who doesn’t need a teleprompter?’ He’s there, eyes locked on the screen, but he’s acting like he’s freestyling. It’s like watching someone use GPS and bragging they know the way. ‘I don’t need directions!’ he says… as Siri’s telling him to turn left in 200 feet. But it’s Trump! You know, he loves contradictions. It’s his thing. He’s like a magician, but instead of pulling a rabbit out of a hat, he pulls irony out of thin air!”

A sarcastic comment read, “Although the teleprompters are clearly visible, I would venture Trump is telling the truth quite by accident. He obviously just lets whatever that red fog is that's swirling in his brain right out his mouth. No teleprompter needed. Keep it up, Donald. You're doing great!”

Another one was “He says with two teleprompters clearly in view. Gaslighting nonsense and MAGA eats it up.”

Trump vows to steal jobs of other nations

Meanwhile, during the rally, Trump also attacked immigrants across the country.

He said, as reported by USA Today, “They're coming from all over the world. What they're doing to the fabric, to the guts of our country. It's not even believable. And you see what's going on.”
