MANALAPAN, FLORIDA: Donald Trump could not hold back in congratulating Fox News hosts Sean Hannity, 62, and Ainsley Earhardt, 48, on their engagement, 

The couple, who had been in a discreet relationship for years, shared that the proposal took place during Christmas week at a church in Hannity's home state of Florida via network.

Sean Hannity and Ainsley Earhardt described the location as “the perfect place” to mark their engagement, citing their shared faith as a key factor in choosing it.

Taking to Truth Social, Trump praised Hannity and Earhardt, calling them the finest people.

Trump wrote, "Great news about Sean and Ainsley. They are officially engaged to be married!"

He continued, "There are no finer people than these, and there will be no finer couple. Congratulations to both - A deal made in HEAVEN!!! DJT."

Sean Hannity and Ainsley Earhardt maintain good relationships with ex-partners

Sean Hannity, who has hosted his self-titled Fox News show since 2009, and Ainsley Earhardt, co-host of 'Fox & Friends', released a joint statement expressing their happiness.

The couple said, "We couldn't be happier. We are overjoyed and so thankful to our families for all of their love and support during this wonderful time in our lives," according to Fox News.

Both Hannity and Earhardt have children from previous marriages. Hannity shares two children, Patrick and Merri, with his ex-wife Jill Rhodes, while Earhardt has a daughter, Hayden, from her previous marriage to Will Proctor.

About their children, the couple said they are “thrilled” for the pair. They also mentioned maintaining good relationships with their former partners. "We still get along well with them and made them aware this was happening ahead of time," they added.

Although there are negative comments regarding Sean Hannity and Ainsley Earhardt's age difference, prominent figures have been pouring in with congratulatory messages.

Fox News chief political anchor Bret Baier wrote on X, formerly Twitter, "Congratulations to friends @seanhannity and @ainsleyearhardt! Great people! Here's to an amazing 2025."

British journalist Piers Morgan also congratulated them, saying, "Congrats @ainsleyearhardt @seanhannity - two of the most generous-spirited people I've met in the media. Wishing you every happiness together."

Reality television personality Caitlyn Jenner added, "True love at my favorite network I've ever worked for @FoxNews Congratulations to two of my friends. I couldn't be happier for you both."

The wedding date for Hannity and Earhardt has not yet been announced, but both are set to continue their roles at Fox News.
