WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump's eldest son, Donald Trump Jr, was seen getting all teared-up and emotional during his father's inauguration on Monday, January 20, in Washington, DC.

Notably, all five of Trump's children -- Don Jr, Eric, Ivanka, Tiffany, and Barron, 18 -- were present during their father's presidential inauguration, according to OK Magazine.

During Monday's ceremonies, Don Jr was spotted via TV news broadcasts getting all emotional with teary eyes. This ultimately led to many, who watched it live, troll the president's eldest son on X.

Notably, ahead of his dad being sworn into office, Don Jr took to X, and stated, "Have you ever been more excited about a Monday? American strength is back."

Meanwhile, Donald Trump claimed during his inauguration speech that he was "saved by God to make America great again" after two separate assassination attempts took place in 2024.

Talking about the first assassination attempt, Trump said, "They've tried to take my freedom and take my life, just a few months ago in a beautiful Pennsylvania field. An assassin's bullet ripped through my ear. What I felt then and even more now, my life was saved for a reason."

During his speech on Monday, he said at the start of his monologue, "The golden age of America begins right now. We will be the envy of every nation and we will not allow ourselves to be taken advantage of any longer. During every single day of the Trump administration, I will very simply put America first."

He added, "I return to the presidency confident and optimistic that we are at the start of a thrilling new era of success, sunlight is pouring over the entire world and America has the chance to seize this opportunity like never before."

Internet trolls Don Jr for getting emotional during father's inauguration

Several internet users trolled Donald Trump Jr as he was spotted getting emotional during his father's inauguration ceremony on Monday.

A user wrote on X, "Why is Don Jr crying the whole time, and where is Kim Gilfoyle?" while another added, "Why is Don Jr. crying?? #Inauguration2025."

A person also trolled saying, "Don Jr is crying lmaoo I'm actually having a blast watching this," whereas one mentioned, "Don Jr is already crying lol. #TrumpInauguration."

Some online comments read "That's because he stepped on his toe" and "That man has emotions? Every-time you see him on TV he is a robot, a robot."

A person also wrote, "When you want to get down, down on the ground."

Kimberly Guilfoyle spotted with ex Don Jr for DC inauguration events

On January 18, Don Jr was spotted alongside his ex-fiancee Kimberly Guilfoyle as they greeted Eduardo Bolsonaro -- the son of former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro -- and his wife, Heloísa Wol.

Moreover, Don Jr’s new beau Bettina Anderson, and ex-fiancee Guilfoyle, had an awkward close encounter on Sunday, November 19 night, as they both attended pre-inauguration events.

The unexpected reunion between Don Jr and Guilfoyle was relaxed and comfortable raising many eyebrows as the two mingled with their Brazilian counterparts.

Don Jr ended his relationship with Guilfoyle in 2024 and moved on with Palm Beach socialite Bettina Anderson. He said, per Page Six, "Kimberly and I will never stop caring for each other and will always keep a special bond."
