Donald Trump Jr’s new girlfriend Bettina Anderson eyeing influential role in White House, claim sources
PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: Donald Trump Jr's new girlfriend, Bettina Anderson, has not only made waves in Palm Beach but there are reports that she’s eyeing a new influential role in the White House.
Reportedly, Anderson is eyeing a cushy philanthropic role in the incoming Trump administration, sources at Mar-a-Lago told The New York Post.
Donald Trump Jr's GF Bettina Anderson eyes influential role in White House
Bettina Anderson, a Palm Beach socialite, has expressed a desire to serve on one of the Trump White House’s community outreach boards or advisory committees, an insider close to the transition efforts informed the outlet.
Moreover, she’s been pushing for the top spot on the President’s Committee on the Arts and Humanities, a second source familiar with the discussions said.
Interestingly, Anderson has been schmoozing insiders at Donald Trump’s resort home after Trump Jr called it quits with his fiancee, Kimberly Guilfoyle. The split coincided with Guilfoyle getting the role of the US ambassador to Greece.
Notably, Anderson has had access to senior decision-makers, the insider said, and added that she was heard speaking about how she could help the administration appeal to "the more sophisticated and liberal Hamptons and Palm Beach types of people".
Insiders question Bettina Anderson's qualifications to serve in Donald Trump's administration
Many insiders have questioned whether Bettina Anderson has good intentions or the qualifications needed to serve in Donald Trump's administration, which is on a fast track to confirm a long list of political appointees in 2025.
A source questioned, "Being a wannabe influencer is nothing new in this world — but is she an influencer or an infiltrator?"
A spokesperson for Don Jr fired back when asked about the potential philanthrophic appointment, per the outlet, "This is totally wrong — not only is she not getting one she has never brought up wanting one."
Notably, Anderson currently serves on the board of Project Paradise Film Fund, which provides $25,000 grants to produce movies about Florida’s wildlife, and all proceeds are donated to conservation efforts.
However, her presence at Mar-a-Lago has been scorned by some Trump allies, insiders told the Daily Mail, and they are concerned that she’s not "MAGA" enough and has left-leaning views.
An insider in Trump’s inner circle told the outlet, "The transition is delivering big wins for the country. We can’t afford to have any headaches or liabilities trying to grift their way to more Instagram followers. … Especially ones who aren’t MAGA to begin with."

Another said, "Of course she is, those people are all alike. Money, power, ego, sleazy morals, no integrity."
A person also stated, "Four more years of unprofessional behavior."
Another mentioned, "The more the merrier and when she and jr break up, you can ship her to another country like his former girlfriend. LOL."
A user also wrote, "Well, of course she gets a public paycheck. Doesn't every grifter put friends and family on the payroll? Nepotism goes hand in hand with graft and corruption."
A comment read, "MAGA master must keep an ambassadorship open in some distant country just in case this doesn't work out for DTJR."
