ROCHESTER, NEW HAMPSHIRE: Former president Donald Trump sat down for an interview with 'Fox & Friends' co-host Lawrence Jones on January 21 while campaigning around New Hampshire.

Aired on the show the following day, the interview featured Trump talking about his former opponent Ron DeSantis, current competitor Nikki Haley, the migrant crisis, and an insight into a probable second Trump presidency.

While Trump said that his rivalry with Ron DeSantis was water under the bridge, he was still "very upset" with Haley for running against him.

Donald Trump's take on the border crisis

The incumbent president had tried to "justify" the "invasion" and "destruction" of the United States, claimed Trump.

He shared that he was surprised to hear Biden admit in an interview that the border was not safe.

"I couldn't believe (that) he finally said that after 15 million people poured into our country, the real number, is going to be 15 million by the time he has finished destroying our country," he said.

"And we are going to have the largest deportation because you cannot, there's no way this can be justified, Lawrence. There's no way it's sustainable," continued Trump.

"It's not way a sustainable situation. Our border is the worst border in the history of the world, I believe, there has never been a border in history for any country, including the third world countries and banana republics, that has been anywhere near this."

What does Donald Trump plan on doing if he is re-elected as president?

When asked by Jones to give an insight into his plans for a possible second presidency, Trump replied, "Number one, we're going to have the same border (as his first term), even stronger if possible. We had the best border in the history of our country within 30 days we will have that back."

"And drill, baby, drill," he exclaimed, moving on to the next agenda. "We are going to get rid of inflation very quickly. We're going to be drilling like you've never seen before, and we're going to start paying down debt because we have more liquid gold under our feet than any other country in the world, including Saudi Arabia and Russia. So we are going to take care of that."

He concluded by saying that his administration would then "take care of crime" and "rebuild our cities."
