PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: A recent video released by Donald Trump's campaign team seemingly depicts the former president literally foaming at the mouth, according to RawStory.

The expression “foaming at the mouth” is commonly used to refer to someone vehemently voicing anger or losing verbal control. That said, physical foaming at the mouth is associated with serious medical conditions.

An anti-far-right account, Patriot Takes, flagged the video on X, citing observations of purported "spitting" and the presence of "foamy saliva," which netizens have suggested could be indicative of various medical concerns for the 77-year-old.

What could be the reasons behind Trump ‘foaming at the mouth’?

Patriot Takes posted multiple instances where the 2024 presumptive Republican nominee could be seen with spit coming out of his mouth.

The liberal X account captioned their video, “Trump spitting while telling his followers to vote for him. Instead of reshooting the video, his campaign just ran with it.”

According to Patriot Takes, the problems appeared to worsen during the course of the video.

On Wednesday, the account posted, "Trump also struggled with foamy saliva during his video. Trump just plowed through it. His campaign chose not to reshoot the video. Foamy saliva can be a sign of health issues."

Potential causes of foaming at the mouth include “drug overdose, seizures, pulmonary edema, and rabies,” per Mecial News Today.

The possibility of a drug overdose seems unlikely given the circumstances, and the likelihood of rabies is slim.

Nonetheless, it is possible that an alarming medical issue is afflicting the embattled former POTUS.

Despite his allegedly declining cognitive abilities and shaky public appearances, the video released by Trump's team raises concerns about the level of attention being paid to his condition or signs concerning deterioration in his physical health.

Hilarity ensues as Internet has its say on what might be ailing Trump

One X user remarked, "Foaming at the mouth like a junkie, won't be long now."

Another user said, "Dentures are slipping He sh**s himself, has awful gas, has fake teeth AND is a felon. Good job MAGA."

Someone else quipped, "Wow. Good thing Kristi Noem wasn’t around. She might think he has rabies and Cricket him."

One X user claimed, "That’s totally cotton mouth from the amphetamines."

Another wrote, "Imagine how bad the other takes were that this was the one they went with."

A user tweeted, "Omg. How disgusting! @GOP your cult leader has an issue."
