'Don't tell that out there': Joy Behar warns 'The View' co-host Sunny Hostin against keeping cash at home
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: During a recent segment on 'The View', cohost Sunny Hostin inadvertently revealed a personal detail that caught the attention of her fellow panelists, prompting a quick response from Joy Behar.
As the panel discussed the testimony of Atlanta prosecutor Fani Willis in Donald Trump's Georgia election fraud case, Hostin revealed that she keeps cash in her home.
Joy Behar issues warning after 'The View' co-host admits to storing cash at home
During a recent episode of 'The View', the panel delved into the testimony of Willis, who is involved in Trump's Georgia election fraud case. However, the conversation took an unexpected turn when co-host Sunny Hostin made a surprising revelation about her personal security practices.
As the discussion centered around Willis' testimony and her alleged involvement in a romantic relationship related to the case, Hostin shared a personal anecdote. Reflecting on Willis' responses during the hearing, Hostin mentioned her habit of keeping cash in her home, which she attributed to her Georgia roots.
"My father's from Georgia, I spend a lot of time in Georgia, she was speaking to those Georgians," Hostin said of Willis' responses while being grilled during the hearing.
"They were asking her questions about whether or not she had money in her home, how could she have so much money in her home? I always have cash in my home."
Behar, evidently taken aback by Hostin's disclosure, promptly intervened with a word of caution. Sensing the potential risks of sharing such information on national television, Behar urged Hostin not to divulge personal details about her security habits. Hostin quickly corrected, "Don't tell that out there!"
Ana Navarro, another co-host, added a touch of humor to the conversation by sharing her own perspective on home security. Navarro jokingly emphasized her lack of cash at home and echoed Behar's concerns about maintaining privacy.
"I feel like everybody all of a sudden has thousands of dollars in cash. I have not a dime in my house. Nobody break into my house. I don't even know my PIN number. Leave me alone," Navarro said, before Hostin reiterated: "I have a safe, everyone, so don't come to my house either."
In October, Navarro's home was destroyed by a terroristic raccoon, a critter that caused so much distress that she wished it would die.
"I had to do an entire reconstruction of an area of my house," Navarro revealed last year on the 'Behind the Table' podcast. "A raccoon came through a palm frond onto my roof, ate a hole through my roof, it rained, water got in. It has been a disaster. I had to take my guest house down to the studs because of this raccoon. So, let me just say, I hate raccoons, I think they should all die, I don't care if they're cute, I don't care if PETA comes after me. This raccoon needs to die."
'The View' host Joy Behar condemns Putin supporters following Navalny's death
As news of Alexei Navalny's death in a Russian prison reverberated across the globe, host Joy Behar didn't mince words when it came to calling out those who continue to support Russian President Vladimir Putin. Behar labeled such support as tantamount to "betraying our country."
Navalny, a prominent critic of Putin, was serving a lengthy prison sentence in Russia under circumstances widely viewed as politically motivated. His sudden death sparked outrage and raised suspicions of foul play, with many pointing fingers directly at Putin's regime.
In a segment on 'The View,' Behar emphasized the bravery of Navalny, suggesting that his death was not self-inflicted. She then directed her criticism towards individuals who continue to express admiration or support for Putin, citing it as "traitorous behavior."
Behar specifically named Trump, Senator Ron Johnson, and Tucker Carlson as examples of individuals she believes are "fawning over" Putin to the detriment of American interests. She expressed concern over the implications of such support, particularly in the context of Putin's aggressive actions towards Ukraine.
